Overview

The Nova P300c from Aputure is a RGBWW 300W LED Soft Light and also the first in the company's "Nova" product line of LED Panels. It is made up of cool white and warm white LEDs coupled with a RGB chipset used in color-mixing lights to produce it's soft light. Among the features that set this light apart from other RGB or RGBW fixtures is that it's chipset can increase its output, skin tone accuracy as well as tonal variety. This makes it suitable for any filmmaking setting. It has an intense output of over 9,000lux at 1 meter while maintaining a wide 120° beam angle, a CCT range of 2,000K-10,000K, and a peak tungsten SSI of 85; making this Aputure's most versatile light to this day.

With the wide beam angle and 0-100% stepless dimming control, Nova P300c can easily fill large areas and allow one to control the ambient lighting of the scene. The bi-color range has also been expanded extensively and offers one the ability to adjust the white light’s green-magenta shift in CCT mode. This light achieves a tungsten SSI score of 85, and a D55 daylight SSI score of 74, outperforming equivalent industry-standard lights. And like all Aputure lights, the Nova P300c produces CRI and TLCI values of 95+ even with an extended color temperature range.

For power, the Nova P300c has a built-in power supply system thus reducing it's overall weight and simplifying the user experience. It can be held by any sturdy stand as it features a dual junior/baby pin featured on the Spotlight Mount.

Control Box

Accompanying this LED fixture is an extendable handheld control box that connects to the light via a 5-pin XLR cable. It comes with two cables: a 3m long head cable and a shorter 0.6m cable for mounting on the rear of the panel or into the lighting clamp on a stand. It features an OLED display screen with three control knobs that allow users to fluidly navigate the menu and adjust lighting parameters. Additionally, it has four user-adjustable preset buttons to save and recall lighting parameters from any mode quickly.

Multiple Contol Methods

Just like other Aputure lights, this light is compatible with the built-in 5-pin DMX512 and Sidus Mesh. Users can select one of the Nova’s several DMX profiles for more complex programming or use Sidus Mesh technology to control the P300c using any Sidus Link compatible smartphone or iPad, without any separate hardware modules.

Built-in Lighting FX

This light supports the full library of 15 lighting effects that include: Paparazzi, Fireworks, Faulty Bulb, TV, Lightning, Strobe, Pulsing, Explosion, Club lights, Party Lights, and Color Chase.

Sidus Link

Joining the Sidus Mesh ecosystem allows for the Nova P300c to be controlled via compatible smartphones or iPad with the Sidus Link app. You can control up to 100 fixtures with the Sidus Link Mesh Network

Power Solutions

Nova P300c can accept a 24V to 48V DC power inputrange as well as other powering optons like block batteries and the Aputure 2- Bay Battery Power Station.

Compatible Accessories

Compatible light modifiers include a 50x70cm rectangular softbox that can also include a light control grid. (Purchased Separately) A hardshell rolling case can also be purchased separately for outside use of the light to make transportation easy. It includes a custom laser-cut foam that will ensure your light is always protected.
