The DUZEY Light surgical mesh  is lightened - woven from non-absorbable fibers identical to the fiber composition used for the manufacture of PROLENE suture material, which include an isotactic crystalline stereoisomer of polypropylene, synthetic linear polyolefin (C3H6)n. The mesh is approximately 0.5 mm thick. 

PROLEN surgical mesh is used in the treatment of defects of the anterior abdominal wall, pelvis and diaphragm, such as prolapse of the genitals, hernias, which require surgical strengthening of the walls. Can be used during endoscopic operations.
 

The PROLEN mesh causes a slight transient inflammatory reaction of the surrounding tissues, which is replaced by the formation of a thin layer of fibrous tissue that grows into the pores of the mesh. The sprouting of fibrous tissue contributes to the strongest connection of the mesh with the surrounding tissues. Under the action of tissue enzymes, the mesh is not damaged and does not dissolve. maintains its strength and integrity throughout the patient's life, providing constant support to the anterior abdominal wall.
