INSTRUCTION FOR USE
HANDLING: No special requirements needed
1. Use an alcohol swab to remove the natural oils of the skin;
allow the area to dry
2. Mark the anatomy as required and allow markings to dry
3. Prep patient with antiseptic as required for surgery
4. Locate incision directly next to the marked line
5. Post-Surgery, remove ink with vigorous scrubbing using an alcohol swab
INTENDED PURPOSE: Marking anatomical sites on intact skin
prior to surgical procedures.
INTENDED USER: To be used by clinicians on surgical patients.
PERFORMANCE CHARACTERISTICS: Clear visible purple
mark.
CONTRAINDICATIONS: Rulers packaged with markers should
be used as an indicator only and not for precise accurate
measurements.
