Differential Reinforced Clostridial Broth Base
For the cultivation of Clostridia from water.
L-cysteine hydrochloride acts as reducing agent. Sodium sulphite and ferric citrate acts as indicators. Sulphite reducing Clostridia produce sulphide from sulphite, which results in the formation of black coloured medium.
